Our hospital has many subspecialties including Anesthesia, Radiology, ENT, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopedic surgery, Venereology, Hematology, Histopathology, Microbiology, Nephrology and Forensic Medicine,Endocrinology,Emergency treatment unit facilities in addition to the main specialties which includes Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology.We also have well equipped ICU with a bed capacity of 10 beds. There are 25 specialized consultants working in our hospital

laboratories
We own a well-equipped laboratory which provides service for the nearby two Primary Medical Care Unit laboratories.
ECG
The Cardiology Unit has facilities for echocardiography and exercise ECG.
We have a well-established Endoscopy Unit, a Blood Bank and a Central Sterile Supplies department.
CT
The Radiology department has facilities for CT imaging as well.
Dialysis unit
The Dialysis unit functions with 9 beds and we hope to to expand the service with kidney transplantation in near future.
The Base Hospital Homagama also provides the service related to Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy, Quality Management Unit and an Infection Control.

Base Hospital Homagama is the only base hospital which caters the second highest catchment population of Sri Lanka. We provide services under four main specialties (Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and obstetrics, and pediatrics) and also various subspecialties such as orthopedic surgery, psychiatry, Dermatology, ENT, Eye, Nephrology, and cardiology. Dialysis unit of Base Hospital Homagama which was expanded its capacity recently provide service to acute and chronic renal disease patients in our area. In addition, newly established Intensive Care Unit of six beds provide a great service not only to critical patients in Homagama area but also to critical patients from all over the country. We are on a journey to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our services. we intend to maximize patient care and utilize the resources wisely.Also we aim to bring forth our hospital standards to a leading hospital level and minimize the crowding at leading hospitals by establishing necessary patient care and related facilities.
